Dr Lester Pepingco (BMEDSC, MBBS (HONS), DIPCH, FRACGP) studied medicine at the University of Sydney and graduated with honours. He worked for three years at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where he was awarded Intern Doctor Of The Year.

Lester’s interests include medical education and he has worked previously as an associate clinical lecturer for the University of Sydney medical program. He has published research papers in the Medical Journal of Australia and the ANZ Journal of Surgery and has been awarded the Stawell Prize by the Australian Medical Association for “publishing research which was most likely to advance and influence clinical practice and improve the health of Australians”. In 2022, he was awarded the RACGP Supervisor of the Year.

He has admitting rights at the New Norfolk District Hospital where he works as the clinical lead and is currently completing a Master of Medicine in skin cancer. 

When he is not practicing medicine he enjoys spending time with his wife, his dog Blinky, Pockets and woodworking.
