
Dr Charles Rose (MBBS, FRACGP) completed his medical degree at the University of Tasmania in 2016 and obtained his Fellowship in General Practice in 2023. Before moving into general practice, he spent five years at the Royal Hobart Hospital, working across various medical and surgical specialties.
Dr Rose has an interest in preventative health, sports medicine, chronic disease management (particularly diabetes and weight management), and workers’ compensation. He values a patient-centred approach – developing practical, achievable health goals in partnership with his patients.
He is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine and provides medical coverage for various sporting organisations, including Cricket Tasmania and AFL Tasmania.
Outside of work he enjoys most sports, travelling and playing the guitar.
